i have a s14 t28 bb and it starts spools below 2k rpm. Also the wastegate on the t25 and t28 is set to about 7 psi. but on my ka it creeps to 9 psi by 5k rpm.

I have no experience with either, but I doubt there will be more than 200rpm difference. The biggest difference in the turbos will be top end flow. Good purchase, IMO...

not exactly true. the s14 and s15 spool way faster because they are ball bearing.

yo, the s14 t28 is not ball bearing, the s15 t28 is.

serial numbers:466541=ball bearing466543=bush bearing

you can also tell on the internal wastegate (hot side) if there is a splitter between the spool and the flapper door

Doesn't matter if they are BB or not, both of those turbo's are to small for the KA. Unless you're only looking for a low boost setup, like no more then 8 psi. After that its just to much back pressure and it becomes a heat pump as well.
