Diesel Turbo Specs?

A friend of mine has a garrett turbo off of what he thinks was a Duramax. Compressor housing says .70 a/r but I have no clue what the hotside a/r is. Anyone know anything about these?

Easiest way to be sure of what you have is to remove the compressor and turbine housings and measure the major and minor diameters of both wheels. Then you can compare them to the Garrett Catalog or you can post it here and we can try and find it for you.

T3/T04E turbo .70 compressor and .60 turbine A/R with a 54 trim wheel, and a 360deg. thrust plate.

Why would they be using a hybrid on a diesel? If it is a T04e, then it will be a straight T4.
