I have a 92 240 with a sr20. its been sitting in my friends driveway for about a month now while i tryed to figure out out to route this oil return line on it. well after i was done everything and all ready to go I started the car and it takes a few seconds to fire up like maybe 5 seconds. well if its idling and i hit the gas real fast it starts to stall then jumps right back to life. if i slowly depress the gas it doesent happen. right now the car has 1 stock injector and 3 660s from deatchworks that dont make them anymore. when i got the car this is what the guy told me because one of the 660s dies so he put that in temporarily. well the car runs extremly rich as well. and the other night when i went back to pick it up (18 degrees outside) the car wouldnt start. kept cranking but wouldnt fire up. did it so much that it wont even crank anymore it does once then just stops..think i need a new battery now. im just so confused because i only had the car for a month and its been sitting in my friends driveway for that long. i drove it 2 days before we put it there to replace some parts.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

ever consider replacing the injectors back to stock? that might help if youre not running more than stock boost. and having one 370 and 3 660s sounds hairy to me..

running different cc injectors, wow. How about buying some new injectors for it. Charge or replace the battery and try starting it again. If you don't want it I'll come pick it up aha

figured out some of it. the battery was low and old so i bought a new one.. still didnt fire up but you could tell a difference. took each plug out and they where covered on s*** because the car runs so rich. cleaned them and wire brushed them and stuck them back in and car started right up. still hesitated if i give it gas real quick but runs better. now its finally home waiting on new nismo injectors, circuitsports fuel rail, new plugs, and coilpacks

I had an issue like this when I would give it more than 1/3 throttle the car would start to bog.

Have you replaced the 20 year old plastic intake piping that goes from the turbo to the MAF sensor? When I had a friend give it throttle I could see the Intake piping sucking closed. It was like sucking a frozen milkshake through a straw. The center of the pipe would suck closed. I recently replaced mines with an aluminum pipe. I hope this helps.

I think the issue here is not the MAF but the fact that he had 2 differnt size injectors. OF course the car is going to run like s***. You can just throw any injector you want into the intake and it expect it to purrr.
