Any other die-cast collectors in here? I got a ton all over my room now and the collection is about to get a lot more numerous. I just noticed Sam's Club started carrying 1/18 Maisto models for $11.88 a piece. I decided to pick up one of these. I couldn't find one in orange unfortunately, but if I spot one I am so returning my yellow model.

They also had a MB CLK-GTR, 1950 Ford, several 'vettes, bunch of Camaros... I'm gonna go broke cause I'm going to buy a new one every time I'm in Sam's

I used to have a TON of die-cast cars. Saleen S7 TT, Audi R8, Ford GT40, SLR McLaren, McLaren F1, a bunch of f1 cars, Gallardo, Murcielago, Diablo, F40, etc.

Then one night, my house was broken into (In Tucson? NO WAY! ) and they were all stolen. f*** thieving bastards.

miscalculated on the wall, its about 40. I was thinking there was 23 on each shelf for some reason, actually ~13. I do have lots in my closet, and even more in storage than on my wall.

I have a collection. They are all wrapped up in paper towel in a few boxes. I have well over a hundred of them.

I hope you wrapped them up good. I did that once and when I unpacked them I had a bunch of broken windows

Do hotwheels count? I'm starting a collection of nissan/datsun hotwheels. So far I just have to 370z and the GTR. I'm trying to hunt down a 510 that I saw, but of course now they are impossible to find.

Nice! I have reduced my collection to Hot Wheels sizes. Makes it much easier to move.

Which 510? I have seen a few around here... could pick one up if I knew what you wanted.

I just bought the same one Saturday, i've got a small collection of die-cast and a few plastic models i've built myself. I prefer the die-cast ones, I usually try to pick up a couple when Sams has them out around Christmas but I was shocked that they had them out in the middle of the year like this. I wanted to buy more of them but I decided to wait, the 240Z was the big stand out since I haven't seen a die cast of it in forever.

Here's the most recent photo of my collection(Minus the 240)

I see them all the time at wal mart. If you want I can pick one up and send it to you.....for a few bucks of course. I have also seen the model from Jada City at target

Ok I definitely need to dig out my collection. I have a good bit of them, maybe 30?? I have few expensive ones, most are in the 30-50 dollar range. I do have a '69 Charger Daytona that is supposedly worth about 175 dollars, a John Force Mustang funny car that is UBER detail, and a R34 with working seat belts, carpeted floors and trunk area.

I LOVE 1:18 scales!!!

My most expensive is an AutoArt Lamborghini Murcielago. Has carpets, door handles, great detail... love the thing. Got it alongside a Maisto Gallardo on an ebay auction for about $60 for the pair. Awesome deal.
