did your turbo do this?

i just took of the turbo from my redtop,and there is no shaft play,but the wheel inside dosnt spin very easy.you have to push a little hard,to get it to move,do you think its just cuz its been sitting for a while?will it move like it sould once it gets oil in it and starts move around,or is the turbo bad?thanks,

if the turbo has been sitting for a long time the oil is old and all the extra crap in the turbo has seperated so i do believe when u do an oil change on the car when the swap is over it will spin a lot better given all the old stuff will be flushed out
