well. Lightings... is it true?

Since our verts aren't hardtop.... Lightning goes through our soft top!!!

we will just get fried....

... true? I guess any verts that doesnt have hard top.

Lightning will always take the quickest path to the ground, so assuming your not Yao Ming, it should hit your soft top metal frame or upper A pillar area I'd guess. Either way, the chances of getting hit by lightning are so low it's one of those things I tuck away in the back of my head along with spontaneous combustion and being hit by a plane.

It doesn't matter to me because I don't drive my car in the rain. I only drive with the top down. I can't see anything out of my rear window. It looks like someone took a brillo pad to the whole thing.

I've only driven the car twice with the top up since I got it 2 months ago!

Same here. I think I've driven my car like 3 times with the top up. I've had mine for almost 2 years. Though my rear window isn't too bad.
