There was also an article on it in the most recent Evo magazine.JamesT43 wrote:The Veyron 16/4 is very much scheduled to come out. Right now the car is in its endurance testing phase, but is supposed to be available in tiny quantities by the 2004 model year.
I am a huge fan of VW engines and am very excited to see this monster come into being. Over 1000 horsepower and 1240 NM of torque will definitely claim a few records. In fact, I'm pretty sure that VW has its sights directly set on AMG's top speed record.
The bugatti website is excelently done, and they have a few videos of the design process. Its pretty interesting and worth a look.

If I remember correctly, I think the new ones are selling for just shy of $1,000,000. I also think that they are only making like 300 of them, then any more that are wanted have to be custom ordered.JESTER wrote:DUDE! AH woe. THAT would rock.
