Did you get your car from another country? Compliments etc. (A/C)

So, I was walking back from the store to my car, as I turned down the windows, the lady that went back to her car checked out mine and asked if I got it shipped from another country. :p

A few weeks ago, a couple asked what the car was.

So this is a topic of how strangers or anyone complimented our Altima Coupes. If anyone has any stories, feel free to post. : )

I was pumping gas one day and the guy next to me just asked how much I paid for it then said that it looked really nice.

People at work have asked me "Is that the new Maxima?"

Most people don't know what it is. Some say "Oh wow, I thought Altimas only came in 4 door".

I do get quite a bit of compliments on it though. Makes me smile

Next time, just tell them it's a Japan spec Fairlady or Silvia That would defintiely have them scratching their heads

2 chineese guys was walking around my AC couple minutes trying to figure out what a hell is is......After that one of them sad to another on ENGLISH..."NEW G35..yeah g35" I'm still have OEM grille with nissan logo on it....what can I say...

Haaa New G35. I kinda like the idea of keeping them guessing without the emblem, but I don't want to debadge my car either. D'oh. Guess if they can read it, they can. :p

I've had people comment about it like "i can figure out any kind of car in the dark, i can't even figure out what yours is in broad daylight!"

Most people don't understand either. Typically as: "Hey, heard you got a new car, what did you get?" "Yeah, got the new Altima Coupe" "oh altima's are nice" ---walk outside to look at the car--- "Wait, Altima's come in a 2 door?"

Yeah dumb@$$ i just said it was an altima C_O_U_P_E !!
