we have had major overheating problems, itll go as high as the H on temp gauge, we changed water pump, thermostat (twice), both temp sensors, radiator, radiator hoses, clutch fan, and bled system a zillion times and it still overheats.the last time we bled it it seemed like it bled right (better than any other time). my dad drove the car a few feet and revved it till it was at 2200 rpms constitent, it went to the H fast , then when he pulled it back into the garage it smelled horrible like something burning real bad in this areait is in between the intake ports and the head

Check the two smaller hoses that run behind the thermostat housing. One of them transfers water from the head into the main water passage, the other feeds the heater line. Dont know if you messed with those hoses at all, but if you did, and they are crossed, the coolant is not circulating through the block.

sounds to me like you blew the head(as in, warped it)

i'd do a compression test, but that probably wont tell ya much, a leakdown test will tell ya more though.

check coolant for oil i nthere, or viceversa.

we had the same problem on my 92 coupe, we changed everything that we could without taking the motor out and then finally decided to take the motor out and the gasket looked good but the head was warped. We just bought a new engine and swapped it cause we didnt know how much damgage was done. So hopefully it is not to bad.

You probably warped the head. U can pull the head and take it to a machine shop. They can tell you if the head is warped, and if it is, they can shave the head down and make it straight again, if it's not warped to bad. How many miles on the motor?
