Been watching this listing for a few days now on Ebay. Had a buy it now for $8,900. Low mileage '91 w/ only 29k miles. Still, never thought in a million years it would ever sell anywhere close to that asking price, but apparently it did this morning. Check it out:

Are these old Qs finally going up in value?

No traction control, no seat heaters, no special suspension, no spoiler. Nothing special, just beautiful newish condition.

My 91 had the Shamu white/black interior with HICAS - oooh.
This car's seat color is good too. That leather is so incredibly awesome compared to newer leather (including the '94Q's leather)
That leather just weathers too quickly and then cracks.

I don't get why it sold for so high. I've seen other super low mileage Qs out there that went for far less.

What happened to your Shamu?
Love that color combination btw..

If it makes you feel any better, I can nitpick it a little. :D

The front bumper cover has had paint work, it's missing the road shield, and the dash cover is showing some separation above the instrument cluster. I'm not sure it's been babied as much as the seller says...

I'll keep my three. I really like the 94-96s. My 96 pulls real hard. It's black on black T, got 70,000K and new 6x9s, 4C class a/b amp and a 10" ported sub. It really adds to the original good sound. I kept the rest of the Bose system stock.

BTW I just found a super Maaco shop that will repaint the 94 for a little over $3000. The shop is rated 10/10. Seems the guy pays the franchise fee but is really a great independent shop. Most Maaco jobs are $800 for total BS work and results.

I will wait until next spring to see how it's running before doing the 3K thing. It also needs valve cover gaskets ugggg. Other than that it is killer.

Still looking to buy (2) Pilot new Exalto 234, 45, 17 H94s and a rear left window motor and regulator :)

yeah I got quoted 4K with OEM paint without body work, got in another wreck and bent the exhaust again. dam. funny thing is it was the same girl who hit me last time and ran, its funny how life works sometimes. everything checks out fine, differential, frame, suspension, everything is fine, I took it to a mechanic who know's the Q inside and out, just the bent exhaust and a broken bumper cover. dam, first I get acetone all over my Q then this. the insurance didn't consider it totaled so that's good.

Yep, and I'd rather pay that for 1 with 100k and ALL the maintenance refinements already done. (injectors, driveshaft, guides, etc.).

I paid around $4k for mine with 92k, then spent that and more on it updating it and turboing her :gapteeth:

Shamu - I love that look, I'd love to find a black interior and change mine out to black.

no its was a pure hit and run case before and the same person in the same car just happened to hit me again but this time she couldn't run because her car was totaled.
