Did the research, now need your opinion 19"

So I was reading up on the sizing and I found the rims I want to put on. I also plan on slapping eibachs on this too. I can't decide on Tire Size. see below..

Wheel:

XXR 006Size: 19x8.5Offset: +35 Lip Size: 2"

Tire:

Falken FK-452Size: 245/40ZR19

or should i go 245/35ZR1?

According to tirerack.com, when u select a 19x8.5 rim for our car, they reccomend a 245/35R19 tire...which is what i went with. A lot of ppl on the forum have gone with 245/40R19, a slightly wider sidewall. Not too sure if the 40 series would throw off the speedo a bit?

They are both similarly close to stock diameter. 245/40/19 has more sidewall which is a plus. On the other hand 245/35/19 is cheaper and has more brand/model options. I prefer the latter.

They will both throw the speedo off nearly equally, although in opposite ways. 245/35 = +2.1%; 245/40 = -1.5%

+1 to that... im on 245/35/20 on my 20x8.5's

The look of the smaller tire will be slightly enhanced, but the wheel gap will be slightly larger as a result. a 40 profile tire will provide a better ride than a 35 will... both will work, its just a matter of tradeoffs
