Back in the 1990s when the Q45 came out, say I didn't want a sunroof in the car. Were there Infiniti Q45s made without the sunroof as an option?

:welcome: to NICO!

No, the sunroof was standard on every Q45 ever made as far as I know...

So then did all Infiniti models from the older generations all come with power antennas and sunroofs standard?

Sorry. I meant to ask did the 1990–96 Q45 always come with a power antenna and a sunroof? I know that they always came with leather, but I am wondering about a sunroof and power antenna. Power antennas are bothersome. And I'm not a big fan of the sunroof either.

All I want to know is if there were Q45 cars made without a sunroof and without the power antenna. I'm trying to do research.

Yep... the base Q in the US market came with the power antenna and sunroof. I'm thinking the only options were various suspension setups (like the full active Q in 1991), and the Touring suspension with the spoiler... For the most part they were all pretty well fully equipped.

I think the sunroof is one of the best things about the car, it's huge! The inside of the car completely transfoms with it open. I notice how sad and tiny other people's sunroofs are compared to the Q45.

By the way you can disable your power antenna from going up and down. I did because I don't (refuse) to listen to crappy radio.

Disconnect your sunroof and antenna, just don't use them. Or don't buy a Q45. It may not be the car for you.

It will be hard to find an older Q without a sunroof, I have not ever seen one. The power mast antenna can be easily replaced with a short rubber ducky one, but knock on wood my 97's is still original and working fine.
