did swap, no reverse lights, and leaking fluid

hey guys i did the 5speed swap on my 92 s13. I already have to take the transmission back off which wont be fun... lol im leaking fluid from the front transmission cover seal. Yes I did replace it, I guess I did not get all the old gasket off(was dark out i didnt have much light) it is leaking on me. Is it possible I over filled? If not I will be taking the trans out next wednesday. I also connected my reverse lights correctly but they are not working. My question is... Is the inhibitor wire(the 12v pos. wire) does that have any effect on my head lights as well. I bought the car and the headlights never went up or down. I havent had much time to troubleshoot the electrical, but it was just a thought. Any help would be appreciated. Like I said I will be working on the car wednesday, its a project car not a daily driver so no rush. I just was looking to see if any one can point me in the right direction from past experience. you can overfill the trans, depending on how you filled it.. I usually take the filler plug out (on the side of trans), then get inside, pop the shifter out, and fill through the shifter hole, then when it starts to run out of the fill plug, close it up..Eff trying to fill through the side hole with cold gear oil! lol

As for your b/u lights, you can jumper the relay-side of the harness plug (loc. on the pass. side engine bay relay box area) with the key on, and determine if they're actually working.. If they work that way, then it will be an issue between that plug and the trans, possibly bad revers switch in the trans, or bad connection..

Thanks for the help man, i will have to try that, if not i will be pullin the transmission out again lol it will suck....i dont have much help with it. I tried getting the fsm, but could not download it again, Thanks for the diagrams. Ill try em tomorrow night

No reverse light i have that problem its the sensor you put in the wrong one

does any one know which sensor on the sr20det is the reverse light, like where is it located.
