Nah no door cutting, the only thing is there is a little bit of a gap between the brown sill trims and the dash, 1/2" maybe tops as a result of the S15 dash being a little less wide the s13 dash..

Actually it was easier to fit than I expected..

I have the S15 door cards, map and interior lights as well to go in, but I need to remove my roof lining, which I will do anyway to retrim it..

I have a couple of things painted up for the dash, but we have had a lot of rainy humid days in Brisbane lately so I haven't been able to finish off the paintwork..

I have finished the skeleton and positioning of audio gear in the rear seat area, waiting for a finer day to fiberglass it all into position....

Good news is that Sam (Dr Drift) has finished a nice idling map for the 1000cc injectors and z32 afm so i can start the car and run the cams in on those instead of the 444's...

The hard one will be setting up the ford afm...

LOL, have fun with that Cobra MAFS. Have you found a VE table for it, or are you going to have to modify a Q45 table?

I think my tuner found a VE table, but not 100% sure how he acquired it (it could be a modified q45 but unsure)..

When I ordered the afm, I ordered a second one for my tuner, so he has one to play with in his workshop on another ca before tuning mine..

Well, the Cobra MAFS is a pretty commonly used unit, more so than the Q45 to be sure, so in all likelihood he just borrowed a VE table from a 1.8l Miata or something similar in size to the 'ol CA18.

Cheers dude, yeah the baby is great, growing quickly lol..

When i get time I do a bit more here and there but unfortunately its anywhere from 1-5 hrs a week at the moment

But I am spending at least a whole day on it over the easter break..

I have completed most of the wiring diagrams for all the s15 gear just gotta do the wiring itself..

I have finished off the colours on the s15 dash/consoles, bar a couple of trims here and there..

The brown interior is gone, waiting to pick up some charcoal trims to replace it all, I have the charcoal carpet and retrimming the roof lining in a similar charcoal to the floor..

I am "re-decorating" lol, the boot space with a much neater fake floor with easy access to the spare wheel...

Now that the rain has buggered off I can fibreglass the audio gear up in the removable back seat section..

Then theres the door cards... But I will finish the interior off after I get it running...

Cheers

If you need help with anything you could swing by the Alice Springs airport and pick up my dad. He is a NICO member whether he knows it or not, and currently a very under-stimulated car fanatic. Apparently everyone there just drives big off-road vehicles and "mad max lookalike" cars.

I can't wait to see it all together! I might have to come see it in person! Haha (not likely!)

Finished off the drivers doorcard the other day enough to mock fit to the door.. I need to clean it a little to finish it off..

Once the weather gives me a nice sunny morning I will be able to fibreglass up the gear in the back and actually have the interior done.. hoo harr... :D

Great work! I have not had a chance to look at every pic from the thread -- just a safety concern with respect to the fuel lines. Early on you had a pic of them passing through holes in a bulkhead. I would just suggest rubber grommets or some sort of protective sleeve so that vibration will not wear a hole through them.

Hi mate, cheers for the reply..

Your right grommets are a must, for safety and to protect the damn thing lol. There are grommets In there, wherever I have needed to run anything (fuel, electrics) through metal I have used grommets.. (other than the boot trim which is 6mm mdf and checkerplate vinyl trim)

Very good point mate..

A quick update, I should have the ecu and injectors back next week, I have finished most of the interior, fibreglassed the rear seat area and setup the carpc..

Cheers :)

Some more finished work, should see the ecu back shortly, Sam (DrDrift) has worked his magic and sorted out the SCT3000 AFM resolution.. fantastic effort mate!!

I am bloody crook with some flu thing going around, been sick for a week nearly, may not get to work on it much this weekend, but I hope to do some more work on the fibreglass if I feel up to it...

Center console turned out really well as did the gold on the rear parcel shelf :D

Been a while since I posted here..

Will be some more time before I fire it up, I have decided to bring forward another turbo system that I was going to implement next year..

But decided to implement it sooner, means more fabrication..

Chers :)
