Thats right ladies & gents I pulled a NICO & worked today to get the interior to look good (not usually a focus for me). So heres what went down; As some of you know I ripped out my carpet a bit back & Herculined (bedliner) my floor, but after I did I noticed the tan trim pieces stuck out like a sore thumb, so today I got some Rustoleom black bedliner & sprayed down the wire covers, kick panel, door trim (those little pieces that your supposed to put your feet on when you get in) & the big panel that the seat belt hooks into. Oh I also hooked up my new Cobra CB & external speaker, both pawn shop specials (you knew I had do something that wasn't about looks). Oh before anyone says it, I know the Herculiner looks like sh*t in the door jams but I ran out of Herculiner & when I get a couple extra bucks it'll be finished (as well as the cargo area & the outside). Enjoy.

And the new CB & speaker

by the way heres a tip, you see in the 2nd to last pic (of the CB radio) how the plastic has scratch marks and also a bird poop (or cig ashes?) looking substance, i use this for those plastics, all over, even the black plastic under the shifter where the letters P R D 2 1 are It works great to clean the dashboard, door panels, and interior plastics. Smells great. Will hide those surface scratches in the plastics too. Plus convenient disposable wipes. its like $6 for a can of 25 wipes

i dont use the popular armor all wipes because ive found that they leave little annoying white pieces of cloth behind

No I'm not rocking the ice cream interior/exterior but I don't want it looking a hot as$ mess either.

The blue wire runs to a single channel 1ohm Pyle 2200watt amp which hooks up to my 15" Kove Armageddon in a ported box with about 3.2 cubic ft. I used to run a 1200watt single channel MTX but money got tight like 3 or so years ago & I sold it to help pay the rent & when it came time to buy something new I went cheap. I don't really care though cause I don't worry about sound comps or anyting like that I just want to vibrate the guy's doors beside me on the street with my hardcore music playing (Knives Exchanging Hands does it the best). It's kind of hard to hide all of my wires right now because I have no carpet to hide it under but I am doing fine without.

I figured it would dry up. I still say its more fun to rip out the carpet though. I need to break even (I don't worry about "getting ahead" anymore) so I can make another trip over to OBX. You still gonna be there this fall?

I have Qwikliner and it works well. "Low Pressure" material is softer and more rubber like with a coarser texture. This makes it more slip resistant. Because it has a 15-20 second gel time it can flow into low places and fill them much better than "High Pressure" can. Due to "Low Pressure's" density and thickness, it is an excellent sound deadener. Body rattle and road noise are greatly reduced. For this reason we recommend "Low Pressure" almost always for vehicle interiors and exterior also. http://www.jeepz.com/forum/att...0.jpg
