I was inspecting under the car the other day and noticed a fluid leak around the steering rack and thought dang but the fluid was clear instead of the pink colored fluid in the power steering resevoir. Traced it up and saw it leaking between the vacuum booster and the master cylinder res. pearch. Is this a somewhat simple unbolt/bolt back on item? Is there a O ring in there that could be replaced? I did a search but didn't quite get my questions answered. Thanks.

Definately bolt-on/bolt off. Spring for the Craftsman flare wrench for the lines, and go ahead and get speed bleeders for the flush and you'll be fine. I even put Speed Bleeders on the ABS Actuator, but can't seem to find the receipt (that would tell me the size to use) at the moment.

FYI, the best price I found on a new master cylinder was at http://www.importedcarparts.com for $148.49 (p/n N3000-52312) - but that's only about $10 cheaper than Infiniti of Scottsdale. Back in 2002 I got it for $117 - guess they figured out that it was way below the dealer price for the same part.

Joe will match published prices if it is OEM and you have a URL for him.

Wes, sounds awesome. Let me know what works and when to hook up. I really appreciate it! BTW - where can I pick up speed bleeders (never used em' before)?

Man! I want your job. I'd love to be holdin' down the lawn too (Got an extra chair)? I'll take the MC and the other parts also if ya don't mind chuckin' em' in the trunk (only when you find time to get up ) I'm having keyless entry installed in the Q today along with a party tonite so I'll call ya Tues. if that's OK to see when your coming to this region. Tues, Wed, or Thur would be pretty good though. Till then watch the grass grow!

Cool... I will await your call!! Im up here on vacation, we can meet up wherever you like...

I got in last night, and this morning I dropped the rear subframe on the old Q... Maybe i'll install my new 2in drop springs (VERY RARE)... Whatever the case is, your MC and seat controller thing are in the trunk of the Q and we can meetup any time you want to... I'll give TIm a call (guy local who has a 91 Q in perfect shape) and we'll see how it goes!

Are you now with the window regulators and the cooling fan?
