So over the year I did some experimenting with coolant to see what gave me the coolest temps. I live in South Florida so we get some hot temps average even during the winter.

Anyways the Average temp is usually 80-90 here in S. FL.

My setup cooling wise.

Stock KA radiator, OEM 195*F thermo. 3.8L Ford Taurus fan.

First I used a 50/50 mix and my driving temps were 185*F City and 182*F HWY

2nd Straight Water no additives and my driving temps were 182*F City and 182*F HWY

Last was Water with Redlines Water Wetter and my driving temps were 177*F City and 172*F highway.

With the first setup when I do WOT runs my temps jump up 10*F I would assume this is from the KA radiators.

Same with straight water they would go up 10*F.

With Water Wetter it wouldnt go past 180*F.

Right now Im with 50/50 coolant/water as I dont like my motor to run to cool helps with atomization and cleaner burn of the fuel.

Anyways I figure I'd post my findings.

I havent tried Water Wetter with 50/50 mix I'll give that a shot later on. OH yea these tests were done on hot days and with 4 months driving.

There was an article in Turbo mag a few months back, where they tested a few different brands of water wetters......and the outcome was similar to yours.I'm running mine with 70% distilled water, 30% coolant and a bottle of Red Line. I've only got the factory gauge, so I couldn't tell you what the temps are/ were.....but I do know the electric fan doesn't kick on as ofter as it use to sitting in traffic
