i like how the irons look, and one of the threads on my aluminum calipers was stripped94_240sx wrote:Cool. I like the color on the calipers.
So, you have both iron and aluminum calipers, and you installed iron calipers on your car. Is there any reason why you chose iron?
That's cool. I finished the swap on mine a couple of weeks ago too with aluminum calipers. I liked the fins on aluminum calipers, so got them from eBay. I'll do the write up this week hopefully.sr20detRcr1 wrote:

Can anybody vouch for the replacement z32 calipers from dealers like Autozone, O'Reilly's, etc? Are they pretty good or crap? Are they all aluminum or iron? Refurbished OEM or some aftermarket facsimile like Duralast?Bumnah wrote:you can get replacement calipers from any of the auto parts stores.
I've seen several Autozone z32 calipers. Here's the story. Yes, they are real z32 calipers collected from junkyards. A company called Beck/Arnley cleans them up, sprays with aluminum paint and replaces seals and clips with aftermarket kits. So, yes they are legit z32 calipers, but look ugly. If you get them from Autozone, I recommend powder coat them and rebuild yourself with OEM kits. Or you can buy failry clean calipers on eBay and rebuild yourself just like I did.simmode1 wrote:

EDIT: Oh.Csomme wrote:Welp, I work at autozone, and personally, they aren't worth it. First of all, they don't have the Nissan logo on them, and the castings are a little bit messy. They ARE quality calipers, but They are so freakin' expensive, that yu could buy used ones, rebuild them and powdercoat them for the same price(if you look for a resonable deal).
So///dont' go with autozone's Z32 calipers:) haha, not worth it.
what wheels are these?and where you get them?Bmxandcars wrote:

haha, welp, we don't get discounts on VDP parts, so you better pray the HUB has them, or the store has them in stock. I think there are only a couple moments out of the year when we get discounts on VDP, and I forget when they are. lolsimmode1 wrote:Exactly what I wanted to know! A good friend of mine is an Autozone Assistant Manager so I can get a pretty good price on them! Thanks!
EDIT: Oh.
Answered already. BTW, size is 17x8 +38 4-lug just like LM-GT4 wheels.1991ls13 wrote:what wheels are these?and where you get them?
