Hey guys,

Had some spare time today for the first time in a while. Since my engine was already out of my car I decided to pull it apart, everything looked good up until I took off the head and there was oil in between the head and block and inside the dowel pin, it was in the very front of the engine. It looks like it is coming from the front engine cover somewhere. I was almost positive it was going to be a piston but they all look clean as well as the cylinder walls. Does anyone have any info on what this could be? or is it the #1 piston? Thanks

Ivan

It's possible they actually mixed when you pulled the head. Look for a milky colored oil. If the motor was running when the mixing occurred, you end up with an oil "latte" looking mixture.
