I ordered 2x magnaflow 14807's. They look and should sound very nice, but the piping is a bit off.
The m35 has 2.5inch diameter, while the inlet on the magnaflows are 2.25.

Am I going to lose a lot of horses or what do you expect

Oem ex isn't near 2.5"s do you have an aftermarket near cat back system already? Even if you had differen sizes the shop just needs to weld in a little piece that allows the change. On the other thread where you mention the total price was that from the link you have here? I ask because it looks like 320 for only one muffler.

stock pipe is 1.25" if you did not have anything done to it yet... i just did my mufflers this saturday looks good and sounds just a little deeper nothing crazy though ... and my advice to you would be not going over 3.5" outlet on dual tips , 4" ( openning is 7") round tip is way too big for the car.. but thats just my opinion... but dont expect much of a sound difference... btw. i put on the magnaflow 14816

I will post better pics once I wash the car etc... and a sound clip too !!!

Here is a vid of these mufflers. He said they smaller than oem so they had to be fabricated and if i change the resonators it'll be too loud. What do you guys think?

it appears the mufflers you ordered(14807's) have way shorter tips than the other set shown by another member...your muffler guy will have to really do some adjustments...

also the last vid of the mufflers you posted -- keep in mind the sound is different since the guy in with the Maxima had an intake system...

once you install the mufflers, drive around and break them in...with the stock exhaust piping and resonators, it may sound decent...depends what you're looking for??? sound or performance...or
both...

I don't even think its 2.25 I would guess 1.75 or so. If oem was 2.25 why spend extra money on a .25 increase?

Do you still have the stock mufflers and if so would you be interested in selling them?
