i am assembling my SR at the moment, and i put the oil pans, oil pump, and all of that stuff on it, turned it back over, and realized that i forgot to set the #1 piston at TDC. The #2 piston was at TDC instead. so I rotated the crank until the #1 piston was at TDC and the marked links in the timing chain appear to be where they should be. (by guessing. I do not have the head on yet to know for sure) The keyway on the crank snout is in the 12:00 position, just as it was when the #2 piston was TDC.

Think I am ok? or do I really need to tear everything apart again?

i think i get what you are saying. since the head is off you should be fine. I did this one time with my head and cams and sprockets installed and got it right so you should definately be ok. Just set the #1 cyl. to TDC make sure the keyway is right and you should be good. when the head is on and cams make sure the #1 cam lobes on each cam are facing out with the correct amount of links/ rollers. If its wrong then you wont have to pull the head off just the front cover and upper oil pan its not as much work as it seems im in the process now..but like i said you should be fine

karma, don't half *** it. You're at an easy stage of the build, so just pull the timing cover and oil pan back off and double check it. To be honest, there should be no way that the keyway on the crank should be at 12 o'clock with #2 at TDC. The keyway is keyed to #1 piston, so when the piston is up, it should be at 12 o'clock, and when it is down,it should be at 6 o'clock.
