Did i get the right ECU?

Yes i already searched. I recieved my black top today with a J4 ECU now the first thing i looked at was the turbo a quick 80 a/r on it let me know what i was working with. I want to know is the J4 ECU which i have read in my search applies to some of the type x 180's work with my engine? 94’- 98’ S13 180sx: 2. 202hp@6000rpm, 203lb-ft@4000rpm. 3. Garrett T25, 0.64A/R Exhaust, 0.80A/R Compressor. 4. High-port head, 370cc/min injectors. 5. Black valve cover, flat on top ECU has 96-97 rs13 5sp written on it, but im not trusting something in marker.

yes, you have the correct ecu, a J4 is from a 97-98 180sx Type X 5speed
