Did I get screwed??

Stopped by dealer almost a week ago and they said that it looks like the 27th would be when I should receive my a/c. So today comes around, I wait all day for a phone call, I don't get one. I call the dealer, they don't give me an answer as to if their truck has come in yet. The guy then asks for my name and salesperson and he says that he'll have him call me. I never got a phone call.

So I hope that nothing is wrong i.e. they sold my car to someone else or something like that.... Idk what do you guys think??

I doubt it, they don't usually ignore you until after a year you signed the papers. LOL

My salesman/dealer is similar, sometimes they're just busy. My sister didn't even get a phone call telling her she was approved or like today my Insurance Broker and I were waiting for a response and it took a long time for them to get back.

that's good to hear I guess... probably just too overanxious.

One more question though, does anyone know the dealer's delivery schedules; Like do they get a truck every day or week or every month. The wait is just killing me.

my a/c didn't even get "officially ordered" until after a week after I thought I had placed the order. One week of waiting for nothing! I guess just keep in mind that if its coming by truck, there is probably an ETA, that means it could come earlier or later than expected.

Hope I don't have to deal with that. I live in the middle of nowhere, so my salesman is usually picking his #ss every time I stop by for an update. If he gives me a line about being too busy, I don't think I'll believe him.

I'm looking at an ETA of Nov; trying not to think about it...Good luck!

my dealer told me they order once a month. So it could depend on when you ordered, you'd have a few weeks of waiting for nothing.

When ordering a car, you can demand stuff... ohh you only order once a month? ok well ill go to the guy that will put my order thru today.... car dealers are the scum of the earth... especially on a "hot issue" like this car

Yea, I had nothing to worry about... Got my coupe yesterday!! 2-3 days before the expected 2 month waiting period. Yea, my dealer also only orders once a month.

I'll tell you what... I called/visited 3 different dealerships back in June. I let them know what I was looking for, and they said they'd call me if they ever got anything in. Only 1 of them ever followed up... which is the one I bought from. I don't understand these dealerships...
