I bought some Nismo wheels just recently that have a sticker with the word "VESTA" on the inside of the wheel. I did a search on VESTA and found a few posts saying that they were another division of Ray's Engineering. I checked the Ray's website and found no mention of the name or the exact wheels I have. I think I wasted 700 of my hard earned money

Did you happen to get them on ebay? cause 90% of "NISMO" stuff on ebay is fake. A picture would definatly help.

Mine are exactly like Sillyverts13's, except they are white. I did get them from rb motoring too. Sorry I don't have a digital camera for the pics. These rims are so much lighter than my old 17'' rims.

i just wanna point this out real quick....

did no one ever notice the 350z rims are made by Rays? i believe both the performance and the regular model rims are made by Rays. I wouldnt be surpirsed if they had a hand in the new altima se-r rims either or the G35 performance model rimskis

either way i doubt NISMO would have its own resources to produce the rims Rays has the ability to

as a complete sidenote, when looking at the wheels on my friend's Lancer OZ Rally edition, the inside of the rims have the mitsubishi logo, but then they have OZ's manufacturer too, Enkei

Ray's make most of the manufacturers' motrsports wheels. And yes, everyone knows Rays makes the forged 350 wheels...they're pretty sought after.

Rays forges wheels for numerous companys: Mazda speed, STI, Nismo, Mugen, etc. The 19" wheels that come with the 05 g35's are infact rays forged as well. I think "Vesta" is an old subsect or the like of Rays. SMr20, i was pondering the white wheels you have but ultimatly chose the silver ones. If i had a lighter colored car i would have picked the white ones all week long. They are a better style in my opinion.

you can basically tell if it's nismo if it's forged. forged is really light dump it on a scale if you must. i wouldn't worry about potholes as much as i'd worry about crappy made in china/taiwan cast wheels...

I'm dubbin Motegi FF7's in a gloss black finish with the polished lip, 16x7's now, im waiting to get something else probably an 18x8 or 9.

while we're on the topic, what width could we go up to on a s14? im looking at a set of 17x8.5's right now... on ebay, but they look stellar, if i dont like em i figure i could sell em.

Any set of wheels that cost $400.00 brand new are gonna be pretty low on the pole. Anything on ebay followed by the word "style" indicates cheap pos gear. Spend some money and buy a nice set of used wheels before new cheap ones anyday. The quality is like night and day.
