I bought another 96 maxima engine from a factory outta state with 40,000 miles on it for 1,000 shipped an all. Im gettin it put in for 400. Was that a good deal?

I think whether you bought an engine for $600 or $1000 it's not a big difference in the long run as long as the engine is super clean and genuine low mileage. Do a compression test. Hope you a got a great one .

my motor got in yesterday and the mechanic putting it in says its spottless I hope this means all seals are good and it wasnt abused in its previous car. (keeping in mind it has 40,000 miles on it)
