Did I find a rarer car than I thought?

Last week I drove 600 miles to Kansas to buy a 1998 S14 SE 5spd, green pearl btw, dealer said no LSD but it actually feels like it has one, but I have not verified this yet. If anyone knows how I can without burning out in my parking lot lemme know. Anyway, I was looking at production #'s and discovered there were only about 2k made in 98! Anyone know how many of this specific model were made? I am dying to know! Oh yeah it is a one owner 70k mile car, and still smells new, and I paid $8500 for it.:ylsuper

jack the back end of the car up and with the e-brake off and it out of gear rotate one tire. If the other tire spins in the same direction then its an LSD.

2K in 98 sounds about right. 240 sales had dropped in the late 90s, so a lower production volume would make sense

the rarest of all the 240's are the two tone s13's which were coupe ONLY and the rarest of all those are the lemon/gray combo, or the pearl white/gray thats soo rare that it doesnt exist on the s13 240 as a factory option(the pearl white and gray), i only heard rumors about it and never seen it in the 240sx paint colour chart..
