Hello all. I just bought a 92 240 with 179000 on her and a few dings. The car runs great and has an exhaust (OBX I think) and thats it. Oh yeah did I mention I paid 500 bucks?? :) Any way since I'm new to the import scene. Where do I start??

Yeah if it runs good thats an awesome deal. Where do you want to start on your car and how much of a budget do you have? And are you wanting show, performance, handling? what?

I wanna get the body looking good then go for suspension. I'll definately go with an sr20 in the future. But when it comes to suspension I'm lost.

Just look around here for a while for suspension tips, won't be hard to find. For starters, look around the web or local shops for the following:

Front/Rear Strut Tower Bar(s)Front/Rear Anti-Sway BarsSprings or CoilOversAftermarket Struts Adjustable or not

How about wheels and tires on the car...stock? If so look into that as well. My '92 has 157K miles on it, I definately would want a lot more than $500 for it so you got a great deal if it is in good condition.

Good luck

WOW MAN, GREAT DEAL!! i mean 179,000k miles isn't NUTHIN on the 240 motor. thats awesome. for suspension, i think you'll find most people partial to Eibach. there are two different kits for our car from them. the Pro-kit and Sportlines. i just put sportlines on my car and LOVE them. the sportines lower the car more than pro-kits. i put tokico gas shocks on with the springs. my car handles amazingly now, especially with the FSTB. good find on your car man, welcome to the import scene : ) (or at least the 240 scene)

I love Radiohead. They are the greatest band in the world. I can't wait until their new record comes out next year. The new songs circulating from the Lisbon concert are amazing. Anyway, this is kind of on topic, because I have a radiohead sticker on my S13.:D
