Did european and austrailian S13/S14's have rear foglights?

As far as I know those are not fog lights. Just reverse lights. Wouldn't that be a bit distracting to people behind you.

They are fog lights! S14s have them. Wouldn't 4 beam reverse lights be even more distracting?

It's very common to have them in europe. Why? might be because driving conditions are far more isolated over there and jusy MAYBE because they have more fog-like weather conditions.

Why would you need fog lights behind you? Are they only for backing up?

I dunno but I seen a newer Lexus on the highway one time that had those and they SUCK. They were like 4 times brighter then the tail lights and they were very distracting.

um, how would you place fog/parking lights into the lower valence? I have bad eyes, still i can clearly see that the lights are embeded into the bumper cover. and yes, that looks like the z-edition 200sx.

Australia never got the S13 as an official model. All our S13's are Japanese spec imports.

Not sure about the S14 rear bumpers...from memory, I think they did have those lights...
