Did ayone else know that the CVT has already been turbo charged....in the MURANO

Yep, went to my local car meet tonight, and one of the guys told me that the Nissan murano was turbocharged in a one of a kind, non production Nissan Murano last year... which they dubbed the Nissan Murano GTC. The turbo added an additional 100 horses!

yea that was on the boards when I first joined, but the murano supposedly blew up or something because they over boosted

it was actually the c.v. transmission that couldn't handle the power, but the new cvt has been completely re-designed.

SOOO with any luck this will all work flawlessly. If we have bad luck, then I will take everything off and drop it on the side of the road with a for nissan to deal with

i watched the video n 0-60 in 7 sec thats not that fast the 2.5 is faster than that so even if they did do this its kinda dumb ide rather turbo a coupe

she said 7 seconds, but that wasn't timed, I'm positive that that Murano did 0-60 in faster than 7 seconds, with 345 hp, and probably about 275-285 at the wheels, that thing (if it could withstand the test of time) would have smoked the G35, 3.5 A/C, 350Z easily in a quarter mile!

the 2.5 does 7 and some change, not 7, and not less than 7

the only reason I put that there was because Blake is turbocharging his CVT, and that made it relevant... however, since Warner stated that our CVT is much stronger, that's good news for Blake's car
