I've been having some issues lately with my pathy. I was wondered if any of you have silmilar symptoms as me.

I have had P1145 and P1140 since 2008.
I replaced all 3 camshaft sensors and 2 crankshaft sensor but codes were still there.
Followed diagnosis again and couldn't figure it out so I took it to local dealers few times and they couldn't figure out either!!!!

I gave up chasing the code since it seems like there is no problem of running at all - maybe fuel economy went down little bit. She has been running perfect until last year.

Pathy throw another code since Nov 2010; P1320. I had misfiring on couple of cylinder so I replaced all 6 coils out and misfire is gone but still had the code. I performed diag further and replaced MAF, Igniton Condensor since they had problems as well. But still have the P1320. I gave up again since there was no problem of running again. Idles find, runs fine and can pass other vehicles on Highway no problem.

For the last 3 months, there was anothr problem. This time it actually gets little more serious and stressful.
It started with engine stall at stop light and sometimes it dies on me. So I had to re-start the vehice. There is no problem with re-starting and once it is up she runs fine again. It happened once in every couple weeks. and now it gets little more frequently. Sometimes on a cold start, she is got rough idle or even engine stall. RPM drops all the way to 250 - 400 rpm and eventually dies on me. There is no problem of starting again. For last couple weeks, she is got even worse that on a cold start I can't rev up more than 2000 rpm. Then I will have to restart - shut off - restart cycle few time and keep try reving up. Once she revs to 3000 rpm and up she runs nice smooth again.
I cleaned throttle body and intake manifold with couple chemicals and tried injector cleaners couple times already.

I was wondered if any one had similar symptom as mine and how you solved the issue.
Did anyone have P1320, P1140 and P1145 at the same time? How did you solve the problem?

I love my pathy but she has been giving me enough headaches recently. I have replaced so many parts and I don't want to spend too much on faulty diag again. Last time when I took it to a local dealers charged me $400 and still couldn't figure out the problem. :wtf2:

I need some help down here if anyone have good idea about it please let me know.

Provide the manufacturing date of your Pathfinder so we can determine whether you have a 2001.0 and 2001.5 Pathfinder.

Persistent P1140 and P1145 problems may indicate an electrical problem (which is fairly simple to diagnose) or something more serious (intake manifold issues).

Which specific chemicals did you use for throttle body and fuel system cleaning? Have you tried cleaning the MAF sensor?

Try loosening and retightening ground screws:

It was from Jan of 2000 and I have followed service manual including loosening and retightening ground screws. For Throttle body I used Wynns Dealer product, Seafoam and Amsoil product. I have replaced my MAF sensor last year and have not Cleaned since. Any recommendation on MAF cleaning product?

CRC MAF cleaner spray is common and adequate. I would use nothing else.

You have a 2001.0 Pathfinder. P1320 is a common occurrence, and the most common cause is one or more failed ignition coil packs. Since you don't have a specific cylinder misfire code, this can become an expensive fix as new coils can be between $80 and $90 each.

Seafoam is garbage. Use throttle body cleaner to clean the TB, or better yet something like Amsoil Power Foam or Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner for thorough and effective throttle body and intake cleaning. But it seems that you've already done so.

Try to follow the diagnosis procedure starting on page EC-489 of the factory service manual to rule out electrical problems as a possible cause for your P1140 and P1145 codes.

What brand did you use to replace the various sensors?

I have replaced all 6 coils last year already. All 6 were from Hitachi OEM brand.
I will try to clean the MAF tomorrow and see how it works. I am going to replace my fuel filter tomorrow since I haven't changed it for last couple of years. I have replaced both intake sensor with nissan original parts and both crank sensor from NAPA. I also replaced the cam sensor with Nissan OEM as well.

I have followed every single steps on Service manual as well as tech from nissan and they couldn't figure out for P1140 and P1145. Any other possibility for P1320??

Is motor on TB a common problem on 2001 nissan pathy?

Have you changed the spark plugs themselves? There could be an electrical issue as well - perhaps an entirely missing ground somewhere or something.

What color are the coil pack boots?

The FSM lists these as possible causes for P1320:
Harness or connectors (The ignition primary circuit is open or shorted.)
Power transistor unit built into ignition coil
Condenser
Crankshaft position sensor (REF)
Crankshaft position sensor (REF) circuit
I'd just try to follow it yourself again. Most of the electrical diagnoses seem simple enough to rule out.

I checked for TSBs regarding P1320 and found nothing.

Sorry, I don't follow - what do you mean by "motor on TB"? Please be more specific.

IAC valve I mean on Throttle body.
It wass black boots on coil pack.

Power transistor unit built into ignition coil
Condenser
Crankshaft position sensor (REF) these are the things I have replaced already.

I will try to follow the diagnosis again. Hopefully, I can find something.

Any Idea with rough Idle and engine stall?

Rough idle and engine stall can be caused by a dirty IACV and/or throttle body, or dirty MAF sensor. Engine misfire is also a possibility due to the P1320 code.

It's best to remove the IACV and throttle body to thoroughly clean them. Be sure to use a new IACV O-ring and throttle body gasket (16175-4w000). If you'd like an exact part number for the O-ring, provide your VIN.

If I recall correctly, 2001.0 model year Pathfinders should have gray coil pack boots. I'm not certain about this, however; let me do some more searching.

Have you changed the spark plugs using the OEM specified plugs (NGK PLFR5A-11)?

The only codes thrown are P1140, P1145, and P1320? No other codes have ever popped up accompanying these?

Yes I have replaced spark plugs about 2 years ago and yes it was OEM plugs from NGK. I will have to order those gaskets and o-rings first. before I take it off. IACV and Throttle body doesn't breake easy right? I was thinking faulty IVAC as well but parts are quite pricy. I can't remember the color exactly but it was either black or gray.

I will try one at a time. Thanks for your help. Let me know if you have further solutions or any TSBs.

Use throttle body cleaner only for cleaning the TB & IACV when they're off the vehicle. If you want an exact OEM part number for the IACV O-ring, post your VIN and I'll be happy to find it for you.

I've read of maybe one case where the IACV was faulty. If it were faulty, a code would generally be thrown.

If you can, pull a coil pack to confirm the color of the boot.
