just wondering if anyone ever finished a hard top. I think i saw someone with the idea of taking a coupe roof and cutting it to fit then making a mold. Love to see that happen.

Top removal requires a Sawsall and putting it back on is a little hard however... well, getting it to stay on at speed is the hard part.

Couldnt it be made to lock into where the vert top goes? like use the same hooks from a vert on a hard top?

i have an idea for one, just havnt been able to get my hands on a donor car yet. what type of hard top would you guys like? one that replaced the soft top, or one that still allowed the soft top to still be used?

Most would probably prefer to have the option of hardtop (winter) and softtop (summer). But price would be a big factor as well.

Would love to have both at my disposal, but weight might be an issue with having two tops. How much do you expect the hardtop to weigh?

It'd probably look pretty funny, a hardtop that accomodates space for the softtop.

i wasnt thinking for the soft top to be up when the hard top was on. i meant space for it to be folded down.
