i have a 2.5 with convinence package and want to add fogs. I will most likely buy the kit that comes on ebay with everything i need including the switch for like $220. Is it easy to installl or is this something i should have a shop do. When i installed my HID i went in through the wheel well.

unfortunately, there is not a write up or a how to install fog lights on the coupe yet. Some guys out there want to retain the factory look thus buying the factory fog lights and wire them in since the harness is already there (so I'm told) but some guys want to buy regular fog lights instead. Which do you want to do?

I say those eBay aftermarket OEM replacement ones are the best bang for your buck.

i thought we had this discussion in a forum already and concluded that only the 2.5 with the premium package come wired for fog lights. all us other 2.5ers dont have the harness prewired, thats why they sell the whole kit on ebay. also how would u install the switch?

You can get an OEM one or you can make your own.

That's not bad at all, it's already $130 for each OEM fog light. Fog lights are a must on my cars .

Get the shop to do it... Labor doesn't cost that much. I got mine done for $450 including the bulb socket, fog lamp kit, and wiring. Mine were OEM so they cost almost $400. Now I am vroom vroom HID lows and fogs all on at the same time (didn't want to change stalk).
