ok, im just trying to find the previous owner of the theft recovery i picked up. so unless u had ur 91 red 240sx LE stolen in the past year (2003) or know of someone who had it stolen, don't read through this. its a little long. :Pi picked up a theft recovery 91 240sx with 230'xxx clicks on it just a week or 2 ago at a spanking good price. i know i have a very slim chance here finding the previous owner but its better then not trying at all. Since im finding out new things about the car almost every day. little mods the previous owner did.

and im located in vancouver, canada. also the car is local.

- the car has super hicas and lsd on it(im not even sure if they're vlsd or aftermarket). - tinted rear windows - leaking spoiler- a power antenna that seems to have some sort of gearing problem (won't go up or down automatically)- non functioning day time running light (found out today they were just blown light bulbs)- hicas lights that are constantly on (don't know if its a problem or disabled)- leather interior with rips on driver seat (could be from the theft, all other seats are almost mint)- dented quarter panel on driver side (could be again from theft)- modified hazard signal, rather then blinking on and off, it blinks left right left right on the front constantly.- worn out driver floormat with a hole in the mat just below the clutch (where ur feet would grind against the mat)- slight opening problem on the driver side's door, the lock needs to be pulled a little harder when its opened. hard to explain (could b from theft)- slight heating problem, engine temperature seems to rise near redline easily if its driven on the street alot. like when i was playing in the snow in the parking lot. it got to 1 block from over heating area because it didn't have enough air flow to the radiator.- broken tachometer (although the dash was smashed when it was recovered, so it might not have been broken before it was stolen)- before it was stolen, it had a pioneer deck in it. i could tell from the deck's wiring (they took the deck out when thsy stole the car)- before it was stolen, it also had a cd changer in the car, located in the trunk's little compartment where the antenna motor is located on the driver's side.- very mint vinyl dash. not even a scratch on the door panel or front console and such. it looks like as if its brand new. so nice i don't even want to touch it.that's all i could list from the car. and as far as the information i have of the previous owner, i know his last name sounds like hes east indian. i don't want to post it on here for their privacy. and he bought it with 1000km on the car itself in 91 for 20g. along with a trade in of a buick. The car was originally bought from Morrey Nissan in 91 by orig owner and still have the tag in the rear. that's all the info i got from the pink slip that came with the car. if u used to own this car, or know of someone who owned a car that fits in these description and had it stolen near the end of the year (carfax.com report gave it the rebuild title for theft recovery in november) pleeeeeeeease do contact me. because i want to find out what has been done to this car. even at 230,000 kms, it runs VERY well and still VERY quiet. sometimes i don't even know if the engine died when i stop.(not that its ever done that, just saying that's how quiet it is). im just hoping to get some details on my car like whether the engine was rebuild or even a near new one was put in, whether it still has the stock lsd......etc

again, i know its a very slim chance to finding the previous owner, but it's worth a shot. cuz right now, i bought the car partly as a mystery box, but the more i drive it, the more it feels like its a treasure box. considering i was doing perfect donuts in the snow/ice/slush parking lot with the 240's vlsd. which isn't great for donuts as i learned. and the transmission doesn't seem as worn out as it should be by this milage.

so if u could be any help. PLEASE let me know. thanks.
