Yes I have started taking orders to do parts and covers. If you like send me a email at [email protected] and we can go further. Hopefully in a few weeks I might talk to the admins about setting up a vendor account we'll see.

Thats all powdercoating I use a oven at 400*F this isnt spray paint. Powder coating bonds to the metal so it doesnt chip or scratch a lot more durable.

I used spray but was very expensice can. Guy I work next to restores old dodges. Spend like 8months on each one 5-6days a week. Usually it's 20k in paint alone on these then all the other misc. he has oen guy from michigan he has 4 cars lined up for him and sent them own here have them sitting in storage units waiting. Let it sit outside for over an hour to let the sun heat it up. Then sprayed

spray can wrinkle paint will work just as good, you just have to get the temperature right to get the wrinkle effect

looks professional! the polished letters really stand out. What did you use to mask them? I hear vasoline works pretty good but never tried it..

theirs several ways to mask them off.

Vaseline wont work with powder coating.

You can use Hightemp tape and mask them off.

Or after you spray it on get a damp rug and lightly press on the letters, this will cause the powder to stick to the rag. This method isnt recommended as you can mess up the surrounding area if you slip.

The Special High Temp tape just lay it on use a exacto knife to cut out the letter, remove the excess tape and spray on.

Damn, looks real nice. It would look real sick on top of a KA. I did mine a couple of months ago, doesn't look as nice as yours but hey worth a try

I tried masking off the letters but I just couldn't get it right I used chevrolet red spray paint (3 coats) and clear (3 coats). Looks nice on my white hatch, matches my red Sportmax 002's

I dont own a KA, I just go to the junkyard and pickup valve covers so that I can powder coat them.

When using spray paint you can use Vasoline to cover the letters. when paint is cured just wipe it off.

With powder coating I just take a brush and dab it. Plus powder coating is superior to spray paint.

I don't think you're competing with any of our sponsors yet, so keep it on the semi DL and I don't see a problem taking some orders through KAT. I don't speak for the other forums and I may get my pee pee spanked for saying it's cool, but I think it's a good service for our members.

That and you do good work at fair price. I can run this by Greg when and if you'd like to openly advertise, we now have a place for small vendors like yourself that don't have the money to pay the big sponsorship fee's. Everything is negotiable afaik, and we are all about the small business.

I'll be sending you a valve cover here soon I think, blue ftw. Depends on me picking up another 240 this weekend

Really? Thats awesome, cause I was gonna talk to Greg about it and setting something up, cause in reality I'd just want permission to offer the service. I'm just trying to establish myself a little more and get my techniques down, cause im still trying to learn how to do Multiple stages but I got single stages down which is pretty much like 90% of what people pick.

I try to keep it on the DL thats why when I post I never post up prices until someone asks for them.
