The answer to the thread title is no. they did not. i think It's more accurate that they thinned the herd. But to answer the above question, that answer depends on your definition of "some money". I think clean unmolested ones, especially manual trannied ones, have already begun to appreciate, thanks in part to drifters and young drivers destroying many of them. Problem is Nissan built too many of them, so they're not likely to suddenly explode in value faster (over the next 10 yrs) than the costs to keep/register/insure. At the end of the day, it remains a nice car to drive and enjoy, but not an ideal one if viewed solely as an investment.
