i let the car warm up to operating temperature and proceeded to do a compression test. all the cylinders where 145 across the board and one 149. Is this decent? Regardless. The car still runs like crap. Don't know why. I just thought i'd post my compression results and see what you guys think.

Page EM-44 of the FSM says that compression should be 171psi at 350 (cranking) RPM.

Hate to say it man, but looks like you may have a problem on your hands...

i started the car, let it warm up to operating temp, disconnected the coils and injectors and then i pulled one spark plug out at a time and replaced each one after i checked each. i cranked the car over 10 seconds for each which is when the needle stopped climbing.

being that i got a pretty consistant 145 across all cylinders and my vaccum reads 19mmhg ... would that still cause my car to be a dog and barely be able to get out of its own way?

If you end up with 145, it doesn't mean that your engine is toast. Your head bolts are probably stretching or you compression tester is faulting. At worst case scenario, go for a light rebuild if it's really bothering. But me personally, I would leave that joker the way it and concentrate on something else.
