Whats going on NIco, I just purchased a 95 s14 240sx. And it came with a manual(pop-up) sunroof, but I have only seen sunroofs in power. Upon further research I found someone with another 95 with a pop-up sunroof as well, but he had no clue if it was factory either.
Pretty much to sum it up, I want to swap the pop-up sunroof out for a spare power one I have sitting around.
Does anyone know if they will swap with no problems? If its factory, its most likely the same opening.
And before you flame, and say measure it.....The pop-up has trim overlapping the hole, and I would have to pull it out to measure. And its def not the time to have an opening in my roof.

I've seen lots of cars with aftermarket sunroofs that look almost stock from a distance. Check the glass or hardware for factory markings.

About 99% it is aftermarket. Never seen a S14 with manual sunroof.

But it has a stock headliner, it just doesnt have the front maplight and sunroof switch hole. Thats why I thought it could be stock.

Could have even been a dealer installed option through some 3rd party, but may not be OEM.

Yeah...Ive been holding off pulling it out, but i guess I have to. Thats the only way I can be sure....I will post back. Thanks alot

i went to the autoparts the other day n pull beside another s14 with a sunroof n it was a pop up, my 95 is an SE n it came with a sunroof electric (of course), however, mine was a lot more smaller than the other guys, i ask him he had it professionally install n it look like it came from the factory at first glance.......
