So today i decided on messing around with my spear s13 bumper. I sanded it down a got rid of the scratches and peeling paint. Then I primed it. That killed like 40mins. I was still bored. I Remember reading a form about diamond lok. It looks really good as a front lip. I do have an east bear lip with a jdm front bumper, (thats not on my car as yet) but i don't think that i wanna trow that stuff on in the winter. So i went to to 2 lowes and 3 home depots and did not find sh*t. I know that it should be some were around the gardening section. I asked so many ppl. They said that they never heard of it. One lady told me that it might be a seasonal item. I kno some ppl use Garden edging or Garage door seal. But they dont always come out clean. Why is this diamond lok so hard to find. Post any pics of your custom lip.

you may wanna check and see if they even carry the item anymore.

It is a seasonal item but they should still have it in the computer if they carry it any more and if they still do they can still order it.

If you want I'll ship a couple pieces to you. (going to need more than one since they're only 6' in length)

Hey man, this is pretty off topic but I was wondering if you could post a pic or two of your car. I wanna see what that lip looks like on there

I had the same problem finding it once, its only at home depot i found out, and its where all the bricks are in the outdoor section, not by the stuff that seems like it. It is in a bin and they are all standing up. Look them all over, cuz some have a smoother finish than others.

Home Depot is the only place I know that carries Diamond Lock. You can find it near the brick pavers and paver blocks. They usually have it standing upright in the box that it is shipped in. It's not seasonal here in NC as a matter of fact I still have some in my work shop. It comes in 6' sections so you'll have to peice it together to make it work.

I might as well whore my HD lip again.

well of course, but you had listed the bumper as though it was aesthetically different

can't find it, I'll be at UPS tomorrow anyway and see if I can ship something that long for a decent price. doubt very seriously that USPS would do it.

I was thinking maybe a couple of large poster tubes.

Does HD or Lowes have a process of transporting products from one store to the other? for example if I need a part from a local Autozone in Butler but the only one is out in Pitt or in Kittaning they have the part transported/shipped to my local store to pick up?

I found something similar to diamond lok at Lowe's$24.98 for 2 pieces, each of them 6'8" total length 13'4"look closely at the piece on the far left, you can trim those webbed looking pieces so that you can bend it inward.

it looked thicker than the diamond lok and a little wider.I think it would work, and would be even easier with a little torch persuasion.
