IMO, some very good speakers! I'm running the 6.5" midbass from the S600A Hex series components.... Great power handling, and they offer them in silk dome or aluminum tweeters!

Oh, you were talking about their subs.... well my local shop is an authorized dealer also... structurally speaking, it is a very soundly crafted sub! Large voice coils, full metal basket... true double cones... in the comparab;e price range... it is higher quality that a comparable kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Infinity, or JL audio sub!!!! The local Diamond Audio rep took all of these subs apart riht in front of us, and showed us where/how the diamond subs were superior.

Also, its a nice SQ sub... Good power handling, but also sounds really good in an enclosed box!

The speakers are comparab;e to much much more expensive components... I chose these over a set of Focal K2Ps... similar sound , greater power handling, for a fraction of a cost! THe midbass on these things are phenomenal!!!!

There's a Diamond Audio authorized dealer in my local flea market as well (sounds fishy, but he's legit!) A friend of mine has a pair of D3's in ported boxes w/ 2 cubes each - they're really loud and boomy, but still have fairly decent SQ. I would use the D3's mainly for SPL, though. The D6's, though, those are some heavy mofos. Haven't heard them, but just by checking them out, a single 12" in a nice sealed box seems like it would be awesome.

yeah, call them and see what they say... don't forget to mention my name or they will not give you the best price! ALso, tell them you'll let them do the install and build the box and you'll get an even bigger discount (but your best bet would be to come back down to San Diego when you're ready, and I'll meet you up there!
