I just purchased a 93 Q45 and the Diagnostic information display does not show anything. It does not come on, it is completely blacked out. Everything else on the cluster panel lights up and functions as far as I know. Before I go and pull out the panel, can anyone tell me if they've had this happen and is it as simple as replacing bulbs or is it an electrical issue? Is the unit dead? Please forgive my ignorance if these are silly questions, but I have spent hours researching the forums on Nico and I haven't found anything on this.
Also, the buttons' light on my climate control are completely out and all but two on the bose system are out. The digital display(one that shows the radio station) works. Can someone tell me what the part numbers are for replacement bulbs for climate control? I am replacing the head unit, so that is not an issue.
Thanks for any help I can get on this and kudos to everyone on NicoClub. I am a new member and I have learned a lot about my car through this forum.
