easiest/cheapest way to see what code it is? I looked on the forums about this before and someone mentioned "go to auto zone they do it for free" i called them today and they aren't doing that anymore i guess they stopped a year ago. Any ideas?

thanks you guys, now the only problem is finding out where my ecu is. I have a 95 S14 i think i read somewhere that its on the passenger side in the door or something??

also where are these codes going to appear at? on the ecu itself? is there some sort of a display?

you have to count the led flashes in the hole near the screw the first light that flashes is your tens digit the second one is your ones digit. the faq I directed you to pretty much explains the process for pulling codes.
