Some of you may have seen me posting quite a lot lately.

This time when I stopped the car before I turned off engine, it felt like the car was going to stall. The rpm gauge was going up and down between 1 and 0. Normally the gauge should stay a little bit below 1 when gas pedal is fully released.

Can someone tell me what the problem might be???

Not all the time, but it sometimes happens when its cold like winter or when I have not started the car for like a week. But it's summer right now and today it happened when I drove the car to a park.

What is mafs and iacv?

mafs= mass air flow sensor and iacv= idle air control valve. mafs is located on ur intake by the filter. iacv is on the intake manifold. both could be causing ur problem.

Could also be a sticking EGR valve.

The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) is located on the passenger's side of the motor, near the firewall, just under the intake manifold. With the motor shut off, try to move the flapper up and down with your fingers to free it up. There may be some carbon buildup around the valve that's causing it to stick.

The flapper is pretty much fixed in its position....
