Ive maybe had code 55 for 4 days now, so it was about time something else started to go. Driving along the motor starts to sputter/chug/hesitate... however it does not drop revs and only at 3000rpm. First of all i had just replaced my detonation sensor, replaced plugs, and installed a manual boost controller, everything was still 55 even with an increase to 10psi. 2 days after the increase in boost this starts to happen. While i suspect a possible fuel pump problem (fuel filter was replaced 8 months ago when i bought the car) i just want to see if you guys have any insight, thanks.

try checking for boost leaks

i thought that too but this problem is random, it does not ALWAYS happen when im at 3000 just sometimes, i thought of that too.

ok so today going to work it happened from around 2500 and continues through till 3200ish. And only seems to happen as i smoothly accelerate up to 2500-3000 range. On or off boost it does not change anything. And as soon as i fully let of the gas and re-apply the gas its gone. I also noticed the exhaust start to make poping noises similar to the poping you here when you let off the gas normally. This is ****ing driving me nuts i can't figure out if its fuel, spark, vaccum or electrical. Random problems suck. Im pretty sure its not boost or spark because it is an intermitate problem and boost does change anything. Anyways, has anyone else had simiilar problems?
