I'm getting an LH Pretensioner error flashing and I'm trying to narrow down the issue. I hope it's the wiring and not the pretensioner itself!

This is the wiring harness under both of my front seats, and it seems like something is missing. Am I missing some sort of unit that goes under the seat? What are these supposed to plug in to? The only one that is plugged in is connected to the buckle.

Thanks in advance!

Have to guess a little here, but is your seat power adjusting or manual adjusting?

One would be for the seat adjustment motor I think, the other for those electric winter buttwarmers.

It has manual everything and no seat warmers. That's what I was thinking, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply!

Has anyone else had this error and fixed it yourself?

I have not - the manual is here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Pathfinder/2002_Pathfinder/

RS is the restraint system section. Hope that helps a little.

Thanks for the link! I ended up just taking the seat belt off and having a look at the pretensioner. It turns out the guys who sold me the truck put in a seat belt without a pretensioner. At least it's a fairly easy fix!

Well, since the truck is new to you, I'm not sure if you are aware that there is a recall for both airbags - they get replaced for free. Once you get the SRS light to turn off, call your NIssan dealer and see what recalls are open on your VIN. There are one or two others that may apply as well.

Good luck!
