I know a place in Sante Fe, NM that does excellent work and is cheap. And conveniently my grandmother works just down the street. Years ago when I went out there during the summer I was having something else powdered, I asked about the calipers he said $50 for both but he really didn't have an idea on the size of the calipers so he might drop the price when he see how little he is doing. And the shipping wouldn't be an issue because of where I work.

Also while I'm thinking about it. I know you are keeping your rear 240SX calipers, I have a set from when I installed my Z32s if you want to get those powdered coated so you have matching calipers. And just swap them out when you get them back.

Thanks for the reply, I already found a place. I went with performance coatings off of California in Arlington. They did a kick *** job.

I think this should be the most famous place among DFW area. Never seen a single complaint about this place.

Simon, I forgot to ask did you get all four calipers coated or just the fronts?

Just the fronts, didn't feel like messing with the whole rear rotor/drum/ whatever you wanna call it system.

I did mine from this place. They charge $35 per caliper. Do a very good job.

Did they take your calipers apart or just sprayed as one piece?

They completely took apart the calipers, had them in half to powdercoat them. Also had them polish the nissan lettering and put a clearcoat over that.

This place is about 5 min. from my house in Denton...http://www.ncpcoating.com.

They did a set of wheels for a guy I work with and they looked great; like brand new. I think they are pretty inexpensive. Might be worth the trip for the right price.

There you go. That's the right way to do it.
