I got my Versa last month. I've been backed into, backed into someone, and I got in a hail storm yesterday. I now have several small dings all over the roof. Anyone seen the "Wangan Midnight" anime about the cursed 240Z? I'm starting to think I have a cursed V. The car was a bank repo and I paid 13K for the car.

Seems you may have paid too much for a repo. But it is an '09 I guess.

And shouldn't insurance be covering everything?

I thought 13K wasn't bad since it was an 09. But maybe I did pay too much. Anyway, I was just saying 13 is an unlucky number. I could make a claim on the hail damage. But I hate to do it. On the one I got backed into, the guy that hit me is a scum bag. The insurance was in his wife's name and he wasn't on the insurance. He actually went to jail the day of the accident. Neither his wife or him will contact the insurance about the accident. So that is kind of in limbo.

If you have the police report and their insurance info you call their insurance or get your insurance to call them. Don't have to wait on them, its their fault.

Would turn the hail damage in if you evere have a possibility of selling the car. Currently that $13k you are paying for is worth about $6-7k probably.

Thanks, it could be worse. I'm still enjoying my Versa and everything can be fixed. But I did change my username.

is it possible to access the back trunk panel hatch back under the gas tank port from the inside of the car? What im really looking for is a guide. I tried taking the tail light off to see if i could access it that way, but it wasnt possible.

Most of the hail damage is right under the gas tank flap.

I guess i should consider myself lucky, quoted 200 to try and fix it.Compared to last time.

remove inner lower trim panel on that side between the back seat and rear hatch opening. to make it easier to remove the bench seat and unbolt passenger side rear seat back, remove rear carpet from cargo area.getting to that panel area is a pain but the panel that i am recommending removing is also necessary to remove to replace fuel door cable a real pain in the arse. be careful and if it feels like it is hanging up somewhere look closer for screws most likely 10mm.
