$52k is a STEAL! The G50 cost that much almost a decade ago, with a less powerful engine and less technology.

wow,majority voted it crappy at best! while I think it is not a bad car,the ls430 feels like it is much,much more car than this version of the q,sadly.

Very good points... BUt I do agree with Qship... The F50 is more of a "i dont know if im a M45 or LS430". I would hardly say its the best of both worlds..... I dont like hte direction of styling they're going... The G50 had very flat, jaguar like lines, and these are more fat and tall... I dont like the huge amount of sheet metal in between the rear windows and the wheel well... Makes my 15in piepans look just as big as the 17 or 18in rims......

I digress but Infiniti really needs to make up their mind. They know what to do with the G35, but theyre having problems with the Q... They knew what to do with the G50, then they wanted to "lexus-ize" the Y33, and they just have no clue on the F50... The M45 is a little better but still looks to big and fat...

say what? according to lexus website,ls430 starts at $ 55,375!and the lexus interior materials and design,resale value,and cache make the q look like the second class choice it is-wake up infiniti-you cant run with the big guys with the current model q!,and by delaying offering a true competitor in this class,you are losing so much credibility to the q45 name.

But thats w/o options. optioned up to a mid trim Q the Lexus is mid 60s.

My dad is getting ready to trade in his 98' E320 for an LS430, the LS is not that much more than a Q. I though it was too, I tried this weekend to get him to look at the Q but the smallish back seat and the exterior styling killed it. The LS also has a 6 speed transmission. The interiors were close, dad did say the Q's was every bit as nice as the LS. But the back seat was MUCH bigger in the LS and I have to admit it looks more stately.

The last LS was stately (to me) but the current one just looks too... "Cadillac Deville meets Acura RL".

The performance numbers are very good.
