Detroit Metro Area Mechanic?

Hello, I need help.

I have a 1993 240SX Convertible and I don't want to give it up. It has a few minor problems that I can handle myself, a lot of it is in great shape, but the engine is bad even though it only has 100k miles on it. It's been bad ever since I bought the car two years ago: using oil at a good clip, it rattles, and now it's overheating. I'm thinking of having the engine replaced.

If anyone things that's stupid, please let me know.

What I really need is a good mechanic who will do this for me. Either in the Detroit Metro area or near Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti.

Any responses will be greatly appreciated.

You may want to talk to ILikeMy240SX. He's got a guy in Ypsi that does a bunch of 240s. I think the guy is helping him with his SR swap, right now.P.S. Welcome to NICO

Thanks for the help! It looks like he and I can work something out.

I've been on NICO before when I just had the car. Just haven't had a reason to come back, that's all. But I'm glad I did.

track down Alex... Slo 240. He's in Detroit. Have him swap in an RB or SR or something.
