Just got back from the Detroit Auto show, which used to be "the" big auto show. Nissan was not even there. I've been to the Chicago show a few times and I am pretty sure it was *much* larger than this show was.

Anyone here why Nissan wasn't at the show?

Nissan did a release party the first few days with the media event and then was on Electric Avenue with the new Leaf EV.

They also had the Mixim concept vehicle there in the design competition.

They may have been present for the media days and industry days, but they were not there for the consumer days. I was at the show Monday, and the Leaf was not there. The Nissan space was being used by T-shirt vendors selling Detroit Auto Show souvenirs.
