I replaced my detonation sensor recently while the AT was out of the car. Problem is I made a “bone head” move and cut the clip off the ECU side of the wiring harness to wire in a resistor as a short-tem fix a while back. Well, I need to know which way the wires go from the ECU to the detonation sensor harness... and NO the colors don't match. The dealer wasn’t much help either. I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right but the plugs are not cheap. Could some one take a picture or tell me which colors go with which wire?

Do you recall which resistor you used to do a temporary fix for the detanation sensor? what was the ohm and wattage on it.

There is only one wire from the ecu to the connector. The other wire is a ground. The ground wire should be pretty easy to determine. On the sensor, one connector pin wire should go into the sensor. The other connector pin is a shielded ground.
